Please note: All first-time visitors to Dahab should also be sure to browse ourĀ Practical Information page, where we list all of the information essential to the planning of your holiday and getting the best from your stay in Dahab.

Please consult the interactive kit list that Safariquip runs. It covers bureaucratic matters and things you would probably overlook. It also draws your attention to travel related items that this reputable firm can supply through its online shop. Safariquip publish an estimate that 28% of travellers leave something at home; don’t be one of them. You might like to browse the Safariquip links page too.

This is just a basic list to serve as a reminder when packing your equipment. You may have a special kit configuration with requirements that are not covered here. Spares in particular might be a problem to obtain in Egypt, especially as there are so many different models and brands of equipment, so, if there is a remote chance that something might break or be lost, it is worth carrying a replacement. Console and secondary regulator holders are essential: you don’t want sensitive equipment dragging across the even more sensitive coral. If you do forget something, or do not have a full set of your own dive gear, remember that we stock a comprehensive range of excellent hire equipment.
